Fall Bash
Looks like he did it! Gary finally walked away with not one but 2 first place trophies.
Monster truck: Running this class with open wheels is one hard task. With the Savage and how well it hooks up. He was able to pull it off and walk away a winner! Ron Allen, he had something for the savage with his EK4 with the helpful lesson on shock oil the night before. But he had some troubles and was put out of the race early! Nitro
touring car: Mr. Jim Sowa is a hard racer to beat, but the day
had to come and Gary was the one to do it. Jim had some trouble right
out of the get go, his car flaming out not once but twice. Watching Jim...
run circle around the rest of the drivers to try and catch up... as he
just about did it! He was unable to make the last lap before the time
ran out and the race was over. The two of them, Gary and Jim race great
together. With Gary and all the practice he has been getting at the larger
faster tracks is getting harder to beat. He can get threw traffic a lot
better now.
They both ran side by side most of this race as Jim passed Gary and Gary passing Jim. It was for some interesting watching! The two of them battling each other, battling threw traffic, and battling threw the turns leaving the rest of the drivers 7 or so laps down. It was some good racing! For me, it was a victory I was waiting for... for some time now! Good Job Gary |
